He teaches theology, ethics, and preaching at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas, and holds degrees from Harding Graduate School of Religion and Syracuse University. He has authored God Work, Soul Work, Life Work, Living Jesus, and co-authored several other books. He has also done another video series, entitled Living Jesus.
