Every week, Christians around the world prepare communion meditations, but many of these thoughts lack originality. At their worst, these comments detract from the meaning of the Table. Church leaders seeking to broaden their appreciation of the Lord’s Supper will appreciate Guests at His Table. The book contains:
- 76 communion thoughts that can be used as is or with modification to suit your situation.
- Two chapters on preparing a communion meditation from an original idea through delivery of a polished communion thought.
- Concrete actions leaders can take to prepare the church for observing the Lord’s Supper.
- An explanation of seven theological principles rooted in the celebration of Communion.
- A useful source of devotional thoughts centered on Jesus for your quiet time.
