About the Author
Rick Ostrander serves as provost at Cornerstone University, Grand Rapids, Michigan. He served as Academic Dean at John Brown University, Siloam Springs, Arkansas, where he oversaw the First-Year Seminar and the University Core Curriculum. He holds a PhD in American History from the University of Notre Dame.
